Medical University of Warsaw
The Medical University of Warsaw is one of the best medical universities abroad. Founded in 1809, it remains the largest and one of the oldest medical universities in Poland and along with several polish medical degree programs, it offers 6 year medical program, 4 year entry MD program, 5 year DMD program and pharmacy programs in English.
Medical University of Warsaw has been providing education and training in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and health sciences at undergraduate and postgraduate levels for more than 200 years.
Teaching in English in the Medical University of Warsaw has a 20 years long tradition: the English Division of the Faculty of Medicine was established in 1993, the English Dentistry Division in 2012 and pharmacy division in 2014.
The Medical University of Warsaw provides specialist referral tertiary and general services and undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in its five affiliated teaching hospitals (Public Central, Infant Jesus, Public Ophthalmic, Duchess Anna Mazowiecka Public and Public Paediatric Teaching Hospitals), which are also involved in scientific and clinical research and a number of clinical academic departments located in other hospitals in Warsaw.
The medical programs satisfy the world class standards and are based on the principles of good clinical and pharmaceutical practice. Warsaw medical University offers degree in 14 areas of study and one specialty.
