It is a specialization in health care, which is based on the aim of improving an individual’s health and wellness in all aspects of life. Occupational therapy prevents and treats physical or mental dysfunctions that impair a person`s ability to perform their daily activities.

The Master's degree of Health Management study program, the only of the kind in the Baltics, is jointly implemented by Riga Stradins University and Rīga International School of Economics and Business Administration. The aim of the course is to provide students with highly valued knowledge in health and management grounded in international experience.
The program courses include: Business strategy and management in health sector; Strategic human resource management; Public health and epidemiology; Health care organization and financing; Finance management; Health economics; Marketing in health management; Legal aspects in health management; Project management; Research methodology.
The Mater’s degree of Health Management study program is 1.5–2 year (3–4 semesters); depending on undergraduate full-time program . The successful students are awarded a Master in Health Management.
