The faculty has organised the annual International Medical Postgraduate Conference since 2004 and on this occasion the best PhD students from a dozen EU countries are given the opportunity to present their results at an event that is supported by ORPHEUS (Organisation for PhD Education in Biomedicine and Health Sciences in the European System). Presentations are evaluated by an international jury, the members of which are internationally recognised scientists from ten EU states.
